Changes

Met up with my secondary school friends last saturday and so many changes Changes CHANGES!

One of them is pregnant for 5-6 months already..life's such a miracle.. how can a life just grow inside another living being? She's so happy.. contented.. happy to talk about her 'boy boy'.. in just another few months, this 'boy boy' will know how to cry for milk, know how to giggle, talk and crawl, walk. Life's such a miracle~
And when the baby learns to talk, he'd learn to call us Aunties.. hic*

In just 10 years+, we've all grown up.. from mugging books, complaining and bullying teachers, falling asleep in class, O'levels, A'levels/Poly/Uni, start work, get our first payslip.. now.. motherhood.

Scary. Exciting. Can't wait for the next change in our lives....

**************

Kailing has gone to Sydney to study for her Degree.. She's someone whom i truly admire. She's always had a mind of her own.. knew more or less what she wanted to do even back in secondary school days.. she knew it'd be either marine or radio therapy. in the end she chose radio therapy.. so she did her A'levels and went to NYP to pursue her dreams.
She's a lucky one..knew right from the start what she was interested in doing in the future..
She's also always so rational.. logical.. reasonable..... a thinker.
I realised she's also a feeler.. I went to send her off yesterday.. gave her a great big hug when I arrived at the airport.. initially wanted to give her a surprise, but alas, i'm never good at hiding and being secretive.. she saw me b4 i could surprise her..
she cried.. feel so bad for making her cry.. but i knew if i cried, it'd be quite a scene at the airport.. stayed with her till it was almost time for her to board the plane.. I'd miss her lots.. she's one of those people whom you know you'd never regret getting to know and someone whom will always always be there for you even though you seldom meet up..
Take care dear.. Bon Voyage.. come home soon!!! *well, as if she'd hear me.. but wat the heck~ :)
