vday~

We ended this special day with a dinner at Mandai Orchid Gardens - a special place for us.

We bumped into Gus at the entrance of the restaurant and he gave me a peck on my cheek. haha. that gave me a shock and shengwang too~ hahah...
then we went in, thinking that maybe the ala carte menu is still available coz we missed their special mushroom soup. but coz it was Vday, they only had their special vday menu available..

the food was small in portion and I tot we'll be having our supper really soon.. but towards the end of the dinner, we were surprisingly full!

we did our gifts exchange as usual and I got a bracelet from him while he got a watch from me.. :)

piccaso?

Today I attended an art workshop today to experience what my kids would be doing soon.

For P1, they will be using wax crayons and paint to create paper batik art. So first, I used wax crayons to draw on a piece of white paper and after which, I used black paint to paint over the entire piece of paper. The effect is wax paint resistent!

I tot to myself, might as well make a card to give Shengwang for V-day! :) and so I did!!

And here is my masterpiece~!

And I made one for myself!! :)

Happy Chinese New Year everyone!

This year, we had our grandma come over to our house for reunion dinner coz dad was a little worried that she's eating alone. So clever mummy suggested having her over. :)

And here are our pix... we are finally drinking the ice wine mummy bought from canada in 2007. gosh. haha... finally!

And after washing all the dishes, we were too tired to drive to Chinatown to countdown there... so as my luck wasn't good the 1st 2 months of this year, i suggested playing mahjong to turn my luck!!! clever me!

but of course, the real reason was coz i so long nv play le.. and my fingers are itching!!!

and guess what!! I won the first round!!! *coz my opponents are novices... even more novice than me!!*

and I managed to 'Kong' the 4 'fa's!!! steady la!!

'FA' AH!!!

and after playing only 5 times... my parents and sister already shaq out le!

HELP!!!

and we welcomed the new year with lots of noise in the house!! COOL! :)

SV Happy Toilet Deco

It was time for our school's annual event. TOILET decoration.
And this time, it's named HAPPY toilet deco. >.<"

Anyways, our theme was garden and so being P1 form teachers that we are/have been (mostly except YL & Jo), we have the SEED ideas all in us. So we had bees, butterflies, beetles, clouds and girlish stuff for our little lady's room.

And I tried my hand on painting the mirrors with acrylic paint.. :P

a little surprise in a cup

After our school's toilet decoration on 12 Jan, I've decided to stop procrastinating and finally got started on the little seashore-in-a-cup deco that I've been wanting to do for the new house.
