a special thing..

this year's birthday was a special one..
no elaborate celebrations...
just a day before mine is Minyi's birthday.. we went over to her place and paid her a visit.
saw her precious baby boy.. he is really gorgeous lor... a real handsome dude... cant wait for him to grow up and we can play with him.. hee...
play catching around the living room, play hide-and-seek in the house...
ahh... imagine that~ a crazy almost-30yr old woman playing catching with a little toddler. lol... that is bound to turn some heads and call me a nutty.. haha....but wat the heck. I LOVE DOING JUST THAT!

bought a bdae cake for his mother, the birthday gal and boy, the feeling is so different.
the feeling of blowing a bdae cake during the days when we were young, maybe 13-16yrs old is SO DIFFERENT from blowing the cake now.
the cake is still the same. still tasty and looks every bit a cake, the person blowing has since aged and the state of mind and everything is so different now... haha...

anyway, my birthday was a simple affair with my family and my dear..

lucky for me, this year my birthday fell on a Sunday.
I got to spend almost a whole Saturday with my darling, and almost a whole Sunday with my family.

Spending a Sunday at home with my family feels really good.
Dear came over for dinner. Mummy cooked my favourite birthday noodles and my absolute love, her famous 'wine chicken'. Yummy!
Went out with my dear after dinner.. went to choose my birthday present.
hee.. that comes the surprise!

Dear, just in case you're reading this, "thanks dear.. it really is a surprise and I'm really blessed to have you around.. " :)
