Mr & Mrs Ye and Ye TOTO's new place

HEY! My name is TOTO!

Introducing my new home at Jln Membina! :)
Here's a pix of my dear papa and mama - Mr & Mrs Ye!!

I just moved in with my loving parents a few weeks ago and since then, friends of my papa & mama have been coming over very often to chill & hang out!

I love toys.. especially my ball.
Friends of my parents also bought a toy for them! ^-^
So nice right!? Hmm... I think my parents like their new toy too!

Well, while my parents were busy unwrapping presents, their friends tried to trick me into going into the fridge!! HRMPH! they really underestimated my intelligence sia... :p

"Eh hello bruthers.... I NOT STUPID ok!!"

That's me again being tortured...

I suddenly had a flashback of what one of the boys did to me... sobs..
*with honeydew in his hand*

"Ahhh... what can I say? I'm a ladies man.. uhhh... dog."

In almost no time, the equipment was set up.. and the 'music' started.
Introducing.... the Membina Boyband!
*correction.. it should be Membina Uncleband!!

Well, how can the ladies let the guys have all the fun?
Introducing..... the Spice Gers!?
haha... no, so I've heard they've recently changed their name to the Bak-Kut-Teh Gers!

Just then, at about 11pm+, Phang called..
thinking that all the boys were late and he would be the 1st to arrive,
Phang was tricked into coming to my new house!!

My papa and mama gave him a tour of the house and when he entered the pitch-black kitchen, 3 shadows greeted him in silence!!!
That gave him a shock definitely.. though he refused to admit la! :p

GOTCHA!!

Zijia & Tess's Special Day..

11 Jan 09 was a special day for both Zijia and Tess.. :)
They held their ROM solemnisation cum wedding luncheon at Holiday Inn Atrium and it was one of the most beautiful wedding I've attended..

After the solemnisation, the guests proceeded into the ballroom for the wedding luncheon..

but coz the groom is HAPPY and when they are HAPPY, they DRINK SOMEMORE!!!!

in the end...
while the groom remained more or less still kinda sober,
the guys around him were abit tipsy liao! >.<"

kelly & dylan's little leann

After my crazy JB eating trip on 3 Jan 09, I reached home at almost 11pm. When I checked my handphone upon reaching home, I saw an MMS message from Kelly!
She has given birth just 3 hours before!! Miss Leann Koh is finally born after hours of pure hard motherly love and labour!!

I went down to visit Kelly on Sunday and here are some of cute Leann's pix..

JB food trip

3 Jan 09 - 6 of us, SW, Zhiwen, Wenfeng, James, Minchuan and I met up at Kranji MRT at 9.30am as we made our way into JB where we prepared to be ''stuffed'' with food.
I've always wanted to join the guys on their eating trips, as from what I've heard from SW after each of the trips, the food was mouth-watering. So this time, Wenfeng & I joined the guys on their annual eating trips. haha.. In a short while, we reached City Square in JB where we picked up our rented vehicle - 6-seater Toyota Unser as we were led by our eating guide of the day: James.

First stop - Dim Sum at 11.30am

The dim sum was yummy.. The carrot cake, sweet & sour meat & the otah was yummy! *drool....* but we din eat much as we knew the morning was still young and there would be many more eateries we'll stop by before noon.

Second stop - Kuay Tiao Soup at 12.10pm

this plate of chilli... is... actually not that spicy la!
haha.. looks can be very deceiving o!

The lady boss of this noodle stall is James's so-called 'godma' as he used to come by her stall at least once every week for her noodles and she always adds a lot of extra ingredients for him.. and all thanks to James, we got to taste her cooking.
YUMMY-licious is the word!! DROOL!!! the soup is solid~! with LOTS & LOTSSS of ingredients inside.. dun be deceived by the pix... the photo din do justice to the soup at all~!

Third stop - Bowling Alley at 1pm

We had to take a time-out after the kuay tiao soup and we decided to catch a IP MAN but coz the timing wasn't right, we decided to go bowling instead!
But golly!! the shoes they gave us was darn retro la!! look at all the bright colours! haha..
*kinda match my top in the pix though~! :p

Fourth stop - Bak Kut Teh at 2.30pm

After a short time-out, we headed for the famous bak-kut-teh, pig trotters & paper-wrapped chicken which I've heard SO much about but have not tasted before.
As I'm a big fan of pepper-styled bak-kut-teh, the one served at the stall (kinda herbal style) was not really my cup of tea.. but nevertheless, I drank a lot of the soup anyway coz it's really quite tasty! haha.. though not as addictive as the ones served opposite Tanjong Pagar Railway Station (Outram Bak-Kut-Teh).
The pig trotters were absolutely to-die-for.. but really very very sinful~ so I ate sparingly.. haha..

Fifth stop - James’ house at 3.30pm

After the bak-kut-teh, we were really saturated already.. can't eat anymore.. so we took another break @James's place in JB. But guess what!! his sis-in-law happened to have boiled some dessert - snow fungus soup!!! his mum insisted we eat a bowl each.. and so we all did!! haha.. the dessert was really tasty.. yum yum!!

Sixth stop - Jusco KTV at 4.30pm

After some time, we left James's place with a heavy stomach and made our way to Jusco, hoping to catch IP MAN there.. but alas! they only had 1st row seats left.. so again, we left the theatre disappointed.

Ate some ice-cream while deciding on what to do next!!!
YUMMY!!!! :)

In the end, we decided to go for a KTV session..

Seventh stop - Korean food at 8pm

By the time we left the KTV, it was about 7+ and so it was time for DINNER!!
We headed for a korean restaurant by the sea -- highly recommended by James.
The small dishes there were so-so as I'm again not a big fan of Korean food as I don't really like kimchi.. but then, the meat was quite fresh and tender.. so again, thumbs up!! :)

Eighth stop - Cycling by the beach

After dinner, we had to go for a walk to help us with digestion and so we headed down to the seaside.. and what better way to aid digestion than to EXERCISE!!
so we rented the 6-man-cycle.. haha.. and it was super fun!!! We rode around like a bunch of teenage kids (up and down ramps too!! exciting!!!) and people around us started staring at us thinking what are these 6 people doing laughing crazily and behaving like kids!!

Ninth stop - Kuay Tiao Kia at 10.20pm

After the EXciting EXercise, we decided to eat a little more and end the crazy day with Kuay Tiao Kia. It's actually Kuay Chap, except that the noodles were thin. It's actually very nice to eat.. but none of us could really eat anymore.. so SW and I shared the noodles/soup.
Minchuan din eat any of this as he was already extremely full and at the brink of puking already.

The crazy day ended with the 6 of us going home feeling extremely extremely bloated and feeling slightly sick.. all thanks to the guy below... James aka JB GOD of FOOD~

xmas 2008

24th Dec... SW and I just landed in SG after a 13hour flight back from our honeymoon..
the guys are coming over to our place for dinner as ZJ & Tess's place are not ready yet so we decided on potluck dinner!

the guys started arriving at around 8+ and here's a pix of them busying themselves preparing the food in our tiny kitchen! hee..
