how important is that!

Sleep is very important.
Having enough of it every day is absolutely crucial.
Without sleep, many many things can go wrong.
Without sleep, people are less efficient and more irritable. It's even difficult for them to think.
One of the possible side effects of a continued lack of sleep is death.

** How do I get good sleep? **
1. Keep a schedule: Try to go to bed and get up at the same times every day.
2. Dress for sleep: Put on whatever clothes you feel relaxed in when you go to sleep. Wear light pj's rather then heavy ones. Lucky thing I wear shorts and t-shirt~ actually I would also recommend for an eye-mask. It blocks away almost 99% of the 8am sunlight that shines thru' your windows and straight at you on your comfy bed.
3. The mattress: Most people who have a good, firm bed are able to have a relaxing sleep. A good pillow and soft comfy blanket is also very important o!
4. Prebed workouts: Exercising a few hours before going to be has been seen to help a human being have a good nights sleep. Hmmm... does this exercise include.... ***? lol~
5. The television: It has been found that children and adults who have the most sleep disturbances usually have a television in their room. So I guess a TV in a bedroom is a nono..
6. Getting buzzed: You should stay away from cigarettes, caffeine and alcoholic beverages four to six hours before bedtime.
7. Detoxing Your Bedroom: Get free of distressing sounds and light. Decorate your room with gentle shades of blue and green and your mind will have a better chance of relaxing and allowing you to sleep. It has been seen that red, orange, and yellow can stimulate the human mind and body and delay you from falling a sleep.

I know this from personal experience..
A good night's rest is very important. So don't try talking or explaining something to someone who does not have enough sleep as most likely that person will interpret "why not?" as "WHY CAN'T I!!!" and that can definitely lead to unintended quarrels and unnecessary misunderstandings...

I'm mad!!

"It's my first time being a 'sister' to a friend at her wedding mah..."

thatz the excuse I'd give whenever I wanna buy stuff nowadays.. haha..
It's one of my friend's wedding and I'm gonna be her 'sister' for her special day. Having missed being the 'sister' for Minyi in Jan, there's no stopping me this time!! I'm definitely taking this opportunity to shop till I drop!!
plus it's the school holidays and I AM VERY BORED being stuck at home with no one to go out with coz all friends are going overseas with their bfs all but me and my darlz is working Mon-Fri. sigh~But guess what! every opportunity I get to go out, I make FULL use of it to buy stuff to make myself happy!!

a recent NIE gals gathering at Orchard saw us eating at Delifrance Bistro @Taka. Boy was the service there good~! "Can we take your orders please? May I ask who is having xxx? Yes, Miss. No problem, Miss." GOSH! this feels good. being treated like a princess. haha..

I ordered this lovely looking dish and...

This dish contains PINK shrimps! haha...
I've never seen shrimps THAT pink. hahah... itz quite yummy though!
But not quite filling enough for me... *snort*

and so... I wanted to order this mouth-watering dessert

but they had sold out on that....
BUT Look at the lovely dessert!! So pretty to look at and I can give u 100% guarantee that it tastes better than it looks!!

So end up... I ordered this instead!

It's quite nice if you like eating your apples piping hot and with ice-cream that melts away like in 2 min due to the heat generated from the HOT apples.
Though I din quite enjoy the dish, I must agree, they make their desserts LOOK GORGEOUS! haha.. almost too nice to be eaten!

After lunch, we shopped around the Wisma Taka area and guess what I bought!! haha.. I must publish this.

I'm into spaghetti-striped tops lately but sadly though, they all must go with jeans.. and i'm a bit tired of wearing jeans.
but still... this GG5 top was too good to be true. so I bought it much to the dismay of my atm card.

I was talking about my friend's wedding and me being her 'sister' right?
well... here's what I got (for her wedding la~)
This dress kinda makes me look more my age...
not the girly girly kinds.. but a decent lady-like dress...
which I'm probably gonna wear for next yr's CNY!! haha...

and after buying so many things.....

I can only sum up all my emotions with this one single picture.
